  2. Week 2: (21 JAN) "Professional" Physicists. Who are we? Professional societies (e.g. AIP, APS, AAS).

  3. Week 3: (28 JAN) Where is research carried out? Student presentations: federal government sponsorship of research.

  4. Week 4: (4 FEB) Finish how, why, where research is funded and carried out.

  5. Week 5: (11 FEB) (1) Physics Faculty presentations: Linda Jones. (2) Graduate School (Jeff Wragg).

  6. Week 6: (18 FEB) Physics Faculty presentations: Bob Dukes

  7. Week 7: (25 FEB) Discussion of Grad School.

  8. Week 8: (4 MAR) Physics Faculty presentations: (1) Mikhail Agrest; (2) Terry Richardson

    (11 MAR) NO Class!!! (Spring Break)

  14. Week 14: (22 APR) Student Presentations. Turn in semi-final draft of your proposal.
