- 14 Sep) We finished Chapter 3 today. We will start Chapter 4 on
Monday, but there will not be a pre-quiz. Read the first 4 sections.

Activities that you should work through. These will not be collected
and graded, but there will be questions on the exams will be
taken directly from the recommended activities.
- (7 Sep) We finished Chapter 2 today. Read Chapter 3 and be prepared
for a pre-quiz next Monday.
- (5 Sep) Those of you who stay out late might be noticing a very bright
"star" very visible after midnight. That's not a star; it's Jupiter. The Moon
is in its "first quarter" phase. That means it rises around noon and sets
around midnight. It's right half is lit up. That can help you find your way
around, because the right half points west.
